Ladder Display

My boys had bunkbeds, for about 3 years or so. They recently decided they no longer wanted bunkbeds, ever again, so when we took them apart I didn’t want to just throw away the ladder, and I have no place to really store it.

So I thought I would hang on to it, and use it for something other than collecting dust in a corner some where.
And lets face it, I may have some sentimental value towards the thing.

So here it is.

A little ladder display I put up on my bedroom wall. Still not exactly sure what to do with it, just playing around with it and displaying my wooden animals from Kenya.

First of many DIY projects I have in mind for this year.

Do you have any favourite DIY projects that you have done? I would love to hear about them.

Welcome

I did it, I up and moved without really telling anyone. So…

Welcome to my new site.

After much thought and consideration (and countless conversations that drove my husband crazy) I decided this was the best way to go.  I loved my other site, I loved the name, I loved the feel over there, but this…this feels better. Sometimes life demands change, and not being one who likes change this is a big step for me, but I will embrace it.

Much like my other site you will find posts about life, motherhood, adventures, travel, adoption, Kenya, and so much more. And if you are really lucky you will read about my misadventures in the kitchen.

So now it is time to get on with the embracing of this new space.

Thank you for everyone who is joining me on this adventure.

Thank you for all your love and support.
